Frequently asked questions
When do I need to call the electrician during new construction?
We're typically involved in 3 phases: (1) Temporary power — when the foundation or framing begins. (2) Rough-in — after framing, before insulation, when walls are open. (3) Trim-out — after drywall, painting, and flooring, for device and fixture installation. We coordinate with your GC to hit all three on time.
Do you wire ADUs (accessory dwelling units)?
Yes. ADUs require a separate electrical service or a sub-panel fed from the main home, plus all the branch circuit wiring for the unit. We handle ADU electrical projects regularly and are familiar with local permit requirements in Pierce, King, Snohomish, and Thurston counties.
Can you do the low-voltage pre-wire as well (data, audio, security)?
Yes. We pre-wire for data (Cat6), coax, audio speaker wire, and security system rough-in during the same rough-in phase, saving you a second contractor visit. Trim-out of data jacks, speaker terminals, and security panels is done at finish.
